Work Orders and Remote Support

In the interest of managing requests and creating proper follow through, all IT work requests must be assigned a ticket. There are three ways in which a work request can be created:

  • Email:  barbie.megariz@mesavista.org
  • Call: (505) 583-2275 ext. 1306

Upon creation of an Information Technology (IT) work order, you will receive an email to your Mesa Vista district email account. Each work order will be assigned a unique number, which you may use to reference when calling the help desk. Upon completion of the work order, you will receive a follow up email containing case notes.

When possible, district IT staff will employ the use of remote maintenance as a primary measure for resolving work orders. Keep in mind that most problems can be resolved remotely or over the phone. If an issue cannot be resolved remotely, the work order will be assigned to onsite assistants for handling during weekly IT visits.

Emergency Notification System

In the interest of providing timely information to parents, the Mesa Vista School District has adopted an Emergency Notification System. This system has the ability to contact parents via telephone, email, and SMS text messaging in the event of a school closure or an emergency.

In addition, the Emergency Notification System has been configured to pull from the Student Information System's attendance database on regular school days. If a student has been absent for one or more classes, the primary number in the student's account will be called.  Please visit school messenger's website for more information, or call our Administrative Office at (505) 583-2275.

Electronic Board Packet

During the summer of 2011, the Mesa Vista School Board adopted a digital board packet. The switch to an all-digital board packet provides immediate savings in terms of consumables (i.e. paper and toner) and labor. In addition, the digital board packets allow for electronic posting of the agenda via the district website or email.
